Big Ideas: Starring Doofus and Darling

Welcome back to our monthly comic series, Doofus and Darling. If you had Highlights for Children magazine when you were young, you’ve seen Goofus and Gallant. If not, it probably doesn’t matter anyway.

A two panel comic titled Doofus and Darling. On the left side, you see Doofus in her bed. She has visions of money bags dancing over her head. The caption says, "Doofus has a million dollar idea and falls asleep." On the right side, Darling looks wearied, is feverishly writing down list upon list of things. Lists and papers swirl around her! The caption says, "Darling writes another million dollar idea on a list and immediately misplaces it."
