Listen Hear: Starring Doofus and Darling

Welcome back to our monthly comic series, Doofus and Darling. If you had Highlights for Children magazine when you were young, you’ve seen Goofus and Gallant. If not, it probably doesn’t matter anyway.

Two panel comic called Doofus and Darling. On the left, we see Darling lying back on her bed with Zesta on her stomach. Turntables, violins, ducks, eyes, music notes, and even Satchmo swirl around her. The caption says, "Darling listens to an eclectic mix of fine music." On the right side, Doofus is doing a craft while sitting in front of her laptop. In the background a larger monitor plays a TV Show, probably Star Trek. The caption says "Doofus listens to an endless stream of televised dialogue."
