Fly Shoes, Tiny Shoe Fly: Starring Doofus and Darling

Welcome back to our monthly comic series, Doofus and Darling. If you had Highlights for Children magazine when you were young, you’ve seen Goofus and Gallant. If not, it probably doesn’t matter anyway.

A doofus and darling two panel comic that shares the same scene across panels: a living room sofa. Panel one has Doofus standing by the couch, looking something like a troll doll with glasses and tiny tiny shoes. The caption says, "Doofus can wear outrageous child-sized shoes." Panel two shows Darling looking very annoyed over at Doofus. The caption says "Darling, of average human size, is very jealous of this fact."
