Diss Appointments: Starring Doofus and Darling

Welcome back to our monthly comic series, Doofus and Darling. If you had Highlights for Children magazine when you were young, you’ve seen Goofus and Gallant. If not, it probably doesn’t matter anyway.

A two panel comic called Doofus and Darling. The left panel shows Doofus, a small curly haired girl, sitting on a bed surrounded by notes, calendars, and her phone all blaring reminder alarms and reminders to not forget appointments, basically. The caption says, "Doofus makes many appointments, half of which she forgets to keep." The right side panel shows Darling, a girl with short asymmetrical hair, a striped shirt, and two cats, lies in a bed, clearly daydreaming or thinking about something. She has two calendars near her, both are unmarked. The caption says, "Darling almost never has any appointments."

The one before this one took place a year and a half ago. But the next one is not so far away.
