We have a lot of fears. Some make sense; others, not so much. This latter type will be featured once monthly until we run out of material, at which point, we might begin accepting the fears of our readers.
Now this one, I know I’m not alone because Amandoll agreed with me the other day when I suddenly mentioned it after rubbing my ear. We had a whole conversation about how silly it is that we really do think about it, every time.
There is something about a human ear that seems so loosely attached, even though it seems strong enough. I have never seen anyone missing an ear, or have stitch scars where they had to reattach their ear. Yet my fear persists.
