As you are aware, there is a group of spectacular Carl Sagans that was organized to protect the Earth from ignorance and to guide the human race with thoughtful quotes and good will. Each Soldier undergoes a transformation which grants him a uniform in his own theme colors and his own unique elemental power. The ten Sagan Soldiers are named after the planets of the Solar System, with the exception of Earth but inclusion of its moon.

Every once in a while, we will examine a character, continuing this month with none other than Sagan Mercury!
Sagan Mercury’s most emphasized character trait is that he is extremely intelligent. A brilliant student, he has an easy way with learning complicated theories. He is an astronomer, cosmologist, astrophysicist, astrobiologist, and author. His peers view him with a mixture of awe and jealousy, misinterpreting his enthusiasm for sharing ideas as stealing those concepts from others, and so he tends to have a difficult time making new friends. He is depicted as kind, sweet, gentle, and loyal to scientific ways of thinking. He is generally the most sensible of the the Sagans, and is often the only one embarrassed by displays of ignorance or shortsightedness.
