Party Priorities: Starring Doofus And Darling

Welcome back to our monthly comic series, Doofus and Darling. If you had Highlights for Children magazine when you were young, you’ve seen Goofus and Gallant. If not, it probably doesn’t matter anyway.

A two panel comic called Doofus and Darling. Panel one shows the back of Darling in her striped shirt reaching up to tape a sign to the wall that says "Have Fun." There is a pin the tail on the donkey game taped to the wall beside it and several signs on the wall are of arrows and instructions to go up stairs. The caption says, "while planning a party, Darling focuses on decorations and forgets the food. Panel two shows Doofus with two fistfuls of gift bags, standing near a table with more gifts. The sign above the table says "we love you, friends" and there is a sign on the table that says "friendship prizes." The caption says "While planning a party, Doofus focuses on swag and forgets the food."
