Bed Rest: Starring Doofus and Darling

Welcome back to our monthly comic series, Doofus and Darling. If you had Highlights for Children magazine when you were young, you’ve seen Goofus and Gallant. If not, it probably doesn’t matter anyway.

Two panel comic called Doofus and Darling. The left side panel shows Doofus peaking out from behind a door that has a sign on it that says keep out, and another sign that says Doofus Street. It is clearly her bedroom. The caption says "Doofus is attached to her bedroom and resents sleeping anywhere else but there." The righthand panel has Darling's face peacefully in the center, eyes closed. Surrounding her in clockwise order: Sleeping on a sectional couch, sleeping in a bed, sleeping in a bed with a second person (it's Jamie). Sleeping in another bed. That's four locations. There are zzz's everywhere, suggesting sleep. The caption says, "Darling sleeps in many different rooms split between both houses at Sneer Headquarters."
